Important: FreeCreditBot is an evolving, experimental, self-service educational project. It is not a law firm, lawyer, financial adviser, credit counselor, or credit repair company. Nothing here is professional advice, and no result is promised. Information and tools may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying everything and deciding whether to act.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FreeCreditBot.com, its content, templates, calculators, generators, checklists, and other tools (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live to use the Site.
2. A labor of love, not a professional service
FreeCreditBot is a free, private-by-design labor of love created and maintained by Caleb Pierre. The Site provides general educational information only. It does not provide individualized legal, financial, tax, accounting, lending, credit-repair, or other professional advice or services.
3. No professional relationship
Using the Site does not create an attorney-client, adviser-client, fiduciary, agency, counseling, consulting, or other professional relationship with Caleb Pierre, FreeCreditBot, or any contributor. Communications, tool output, and submitted information are not confidential or privileged. Consult a qualified professional who can evaluate your specific facts and current law.
4. No credit repair service and no guarantees
FreeCreditBot does not act for you, contact credit bureaus or furnishers for you, negotiate debts, sell tradelines, or charge for credit-repair services. We do not promise or guarantee that you will:
- increase a credit score or obtain credit, funding, housing, or employment;
- remove, suppress, or change any credit-report item;
- win a dispute, complaint, lawsuit, or other proceeding;
- recover money, damages, fees, or any other remedy; or
- receive a response within any particular timeframe.
Accurate negative information generally cannot be lawfully removed merely because it is negative. Outcomes depend on your facts, evidence, conduct, applicable law, third parties, and other circumstances outside our control.
5. The Site will evolve
The Site is an ongoing project and may change, break, move, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Laws, regulations, court decisions, credit models, bureau procedures, forms, addresses, and agency guidance also change. Content may contain errors or become outdated. We have no duty to monitor your matter, notify you of changes, preserve any feature, or update any particular page or output.
6. Your responsibilities
You alone are responsible for your choices and submissions. Before using any output, you must:
- verify it against current official sources and your own records;
- review, edit, and personalize it for your actual circumstances;
- ensure every statement, attachment, identity, date, and amount is truthful and accurate;
- protect sensitive data, preserve evidence, and independently track deadlines;
- follow all applicable laws, contracts, court rules, and agency procedures; and
- seek qualified professional help when your rights, money, housing, employment, or deadlines are at risk.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use the Site to submit a false or frivolous dispute; misrepresent your identity or facts; commit fraud, identity theft, harassment, or any unlawful act; interfere with another person’s rights; distribute malware; scrape or overload the Site; evade security controls; or imply that FreeCreditBot or Caleb Pierre represents, endorses, or has verified you. We may restrict access when we reasonably believe use is unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
8. Templates, calculators, and generated output
Outputs are starting points, not completed legal documents, legal conclusions, score predictions, appraisals, or promises. Calculations and statutory references may omit exceptions, defenses, procedural requirements, caps, jurisdictional differences, or later legal developments. A generated document is not reviewed by a lawyer. Do not send or file anything you have not carefully reviewed and understood.
9. Privacy and device security
Our tools are designed to process entered information locally in your browser, as described in the Privacy Policy. That design is not a guarantee of confidentiality, security, availability, or successful deletion. Your device, browser, extensions, network, downloads, backups, and third-party links may expose information. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information and secure any files you create.
10. Third-party services and links
Links and references to agencies, bureaus, software, social platforms, or other third parties are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, accuracy, decisions, products, or privacy practices. Your use of a third party is governed by its own terms.
11. Intellectual property
Third-party content retains its respective ownership. The FreeCreditBot name, visual identity, editorial content, and other materials may not be used to suggest endorsement or affiliation without permission.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, availability, and that the Site or any output will meet your needs, be error-free, or produce any result.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caleb Pierre, FreeCreditBot, contributors, and affiliated persons or entities will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, data, credit access, or goodwill; or decisions or actions taken or not taken in reliance on the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, their total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of US $25 or the amount you paid directly to use the Site during the twelve months before the claim—which is ordinarily $0 because the Site is free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or any non-waivable consumer right.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Caleb Pierre, FreeCreditBot, contributors, and affiliated persons or entities from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your material breach of these Terms, or content you knowingly submit or distribute that infringes another person’s rights. This section does not require indemnification for a protected consumer claim or for conduct that cannot lawfully be indemnified.
15. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any non-waivable right you have to bring a claim elsewhere, disputes relating to the Site will be brought in state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. These Terms do not waive protections that apply to you under the mandatory law of your residence.
16. Changes to the Site or Terms
We may revise these Terms as the project evolves. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Changes apply prospectively when posted. Your continued use after a revision means you accept the revised Terms; if you disagree, stop using the Site.
17. General terms
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about use of the Site and supersede prior statements on that subject. Headings are for convenience only.
18. Questions
For questions about these Terms, contact Caleb Pierre through the LinkedIn or scheduling link in the site footer. Do not send credit reports, account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information. Social links are for creator attribution and professional networking—not confidential support or professional advice.
