// debt collector response — contact lawyer
"Only Contact My Lawyer"
Use this letter to instruct a debt collector to contact your lawyer instead of you. If a lawyer is representing you about the debt, the debt collector should generally contact the lawyer instead. After you give the debt collector your lawyer's contact information, they should not contact you directly unless the lawyer doesn't respond.
